Hello, and thank you for joining us today we're featuring in conversation with gala Bina coming over. She's a former circus desolate acrobatic, a bronze medalist and beacon she and Julie tree, the founder of IE life will talk about vegan lifestyle in this world, and how Gabby is changing women's life through her new startup super body. So without further ado, here are Gabby and Julie.

Okay, so here I am with Gabby. She's the creator of super body. And I'm super excited to learn more about super body and how she came up with the name and what got her to this point. And, you know, just her where she's going and her vision with super body and what she believes and she's an awesome trainer. Other than that, she is a Cirque du Soleil girl, which is all which is amazing to me, because those guys work out like on a know 23 hours out of the 24 day. So, all right, I'm gonna hand it over. To Gabby. So tell us a little bit about super body and how you came up with that and you know your journey all the way to Super body and what you want to create with it. Okay,

so super body elite coaching is an online program for women. And we mostly target women who have tried to lose weight, who have been dieting for many years, we have tried different exercise plans, all kinds of things, and they never really work for them. So I myself had a lot of problems with body image with binge eating with dieting for many, many years. And I know what amount of stress and how you feel when you're under all those things in your head. So I created a super buddy elite coaching program with the idea of helping women to get out of this idea that they have in their head. What I've been noticing that 98 99% of the people who lose weight on a weight loss diet gagne back within a year. And what I could say is that when you get when you get on a diet, your mind stays the same, the way you think stays the same, the only thing that is changing is you're depriving your body from certain amount of food or a month or two or whatever that is, but then once that is over, then you go back to your old habits, and everything just returns back to normal. So your weight comes back again, sometimes even people put even more weight than before to diet. And the supervisory elite coaching program is not like that. What I'm trying to do is make a change in the mind of these women make a change in their awareness about food body, their mind, their soul as well. And then eventually, they they make a shift in their mind and their body eventually falls into that shift.

So kind of kind of like, no matter where you go, there you are, right, right. So if you shift your belief Then you shift your thinking, then everything else will follow.

Exactly.

Cool. All right. And, um, so tell us a little bit about, um,

you know, there's there's a lot of misinformation out there. That I think I think it's all misinformation about food and what you need to eat in order to be an athlete. And hey, if you don't eat a ton of protein, that you can't be a particular type of athlete. Yet there are people like, you know, Brandon Azir, that he was like the first triathlon winner, who's a vegan, and you know, just knowing where your food is coming from, is it that fat that you need to eat a certain way, like eat a ton of protein? Or is it the fact that you need to know what you're eating? Like what's more important?

Okay. I agree with you. There's a lot of pressure on eating a lot of Protein every day. And I don't think that's necessarily the truth. And I don't think that every athlete needs to eat a lot of protein in order to be successful in what he does. I myself did gymnastics for 11 years, and I was in the national team of Bulgaria. So from my experience, I can say I didn't eat meat every day. And that wasn't really an issue for me and for most of my colleagues, protein is definitely important, but it doesn't have to always come from me. It can come from vegetables. And I would say it's also very important the quality of your food and not only the fact that this is protein or it's not protein. So you have to know where your food comes from. You have to know how these cows or whatever meat you're eating has been fed and grown and everything. And again, I don't think that meat will make you a good athlete and you know, other other proteins or not. I just believe That you have to find a balance, you have to find what works for you. It also depends very much on what kind of sport you are in. And let's say in gymnastics, you are judged based on your skills and not necessarily on your muscle size or the strength of your muscles. So, again, depends on the person depends on the sport depends on where you live in in the world. You just have to find a balance in what you're eating. And you have to know where your food comes from, and the quality of your food.

So asking questions, asking questions about hey, what am I eating? Where is this coming from? Like, you know, so you know, it is a little bit of a brain strain, I would say on the part of the person who's eating the food, as opposed to it's a shift in the mind and the mind frame from just running to the supermarket, and running, running, running all the time, not taking a breath running to the supermarket. So the way you treat one thing is the way you treat everything. So if you're treating yourself in life where you're just constantly running from one thing to another, then it's easy just to show up at the market, and just grab whatever somebody else thinks that you should be eating, and just eat that. I mean, I personally find I've been, you know, researching this whole food thing for the last, I don't know, seven years. And I think I've read every label that's out there. You have gone to into a supermarket and spent two hours because I was reading every single label that there was. And you know, even though people in the supermarkets are misinformed, they would tell me, you know, a particular rennet was vegetable rennet. And then I come to find out it's not so then I bring the product back to the store and say, Look, here's the information about the product that you're selling, that you yourself are misinformed about. So just because I think a product is In a particular supermarket, you can't really, you know, expect them to do your homework, right? Since because it's your body that you're putting it in. And you're the one that has to be responsible to do the homework. So I think at this point, we have to stop and ask people to do their own homework and read the labels, find out what's

you know where their food is coming from. It's very important.

Actually, I agree. And a lot of the food industry has grown so much in the last 20 years, I would say so we have so many products and most of them like I would say, 80% of them are not great for you. So even if something says no fat, low fat, no trans fat or whatever label they put on it. For you, I would always recommend to people to read the labels and if they're ingredients that you have no idea what that is. Most likely that's not good for you. So real food. Remember, if your grandma doesn't recognize What that

is, I mean, that's not

funny. It's not real food because my grandparents, they've never seen chips. They've never seen the little snacks in packages, they would go, what is that? Right? So that's another thing that you can, it can help you kind of guide you want to want to choose?

Let's, you know, I'm really, really interested in hearing about your training and how you know, I understand that you've been training for gymnastics since you were on a no, since you since you could speak Yeah. And you know, the fact that when you were trained, you were trained in literally all kinds of different sports, winter sports and summer sports and you had to be good at everything, which is amazing. So let's let's hear a little bit about that because I think it's so interesting.

So that's sports, school and then National Sports University in Bulgaria. If you are studying You know, one of these things, you basically train your main sport which you're competing in. But then as part of your education, you have to learn other sports which is basketball, volleyball, soccer, chess, tennis, skiing, waterskiing, swimming, like everything you can think of,

and you had to do all you have to do

that you have to do practical tests, and you have to do a written test as well, which is the rules of the sport and everything. That's crazy. Oh, yeah, no, no, but that's exactly

what we do there. That's, I mean, that's amazing. And then, um, let's talk a little bit about Cirque du Soleil and your career with Cirque du Soleil and how you guys trained and I mean, you know, there's a lot that goes into, into that, you know, and training and those guys are, especially when Cirque du Soleil first started out. They were very, you know, athletics driven. You know, they've kind of I feel like they've kind of gotten away from that a little bit now they're more theatrical right? But those days I mean, people had to be like amazingly superstars in order to

otherwise their life was dependent on right on a fall or whatever. So let's hear about that.

So search is delayed they usually not now, but when I was there, they usually cast people from professional sports that would be gymnastics, trampoline, acrobatics, and they will of course, get people from circus acts like jugglers or so they would normally cast at World Championships European Championships, that's like the highest level of acrobatics so nimbler already trained for like the past 1011 1215 years and transitioning into circus not very difficult for a person with such a background. So that was my case as well. I audition for them. He was in a gym, where he trained my entire life and I had to do gymnastics, trampoline, and different kinds of things. And then you get accepted into their program. You go to Montreal, where you continue training, they train you for the show you're supposed to join. And then six months later, you're joining the show.

And you're on a forever running Yes. trip from planes to your apartment to planes to your

apartment. Right, right. If you're on a touring show,

right. And then, you know, keeping up with food, at that point is a whole nother ballgame. Right? Right. The

good thing is is Cirque du Soleil was provides food, like we had chefs traveling with us and cooking our meals so we only had to go and fill our plates and eat.

So you mean I didn't go to the supermarket and

grayed out at all but all the annual like all the things that they would cook were previously approved from our nutritionist in Montreal so you wouldn't find french fries and hamburgers. Things that are really not helping you perform.

And they try to source local food right is always

local. with local.

Yeah. So there's a there's a reason for that. I mean, I think, I think when, you know, I've been going to the farmers market every single week and there's a huge difference when you eat within season and you eat local foods that are grown within your environment, and you eat that. I mean, just this morning, I used Lion's Mane mushrooms to make risotto which which just is incredible and you know, things like that and the things that you find in farmers markets are just amazing. And every, every time you go there, there's a surprise waiting for you. Which is awesome.

Right? I definitely agree. The food case totally different vegetables are totally different than the ones you find in the supermarket. And I know it's probably a little more expensive to shop at the farmers market. But if you're giving your money now for food, you won't be giving your money in few years for hospitals and doctors. And so I definitely recommend people to shop in the farmers market better give the farmers your money than, you know, the insurance company to yours.

Yeah, and you know, I find that when you're eating healthy food, and, again, the mindset, which is something that I really, really, you know, want you to address also, because I know that you your whole concept is body, mind and spirit. It's not just one thing. You know, your mind follows the body, the body follows the mind and then the spirit lives as opposed to just like, Oh, just worry about your outer appearance, and then don't worry about anything else. I find that when I'm eating healthy, and my mind frame is what it you know, is healthy, then I don't eat as much right and I eat less. So, you know, the cost factor, I think is balanced out by how much you eat. Because, you know, if you're eating better food, you're not eating as much, right? And eventually, and like what you are saying, I totally agree with that. I mean, I've seen so many instances where people all throughout their life, they save money and they save money on food. And then in the end, they have to give it to the doctors because and, you know, that's a whole nother ball of wax talking about doctors and talking about traditional medicine and stuff like that. I mean, it's that's like a whole nother thing. So what I'd like to touch on is the mindset

or like, talk about it

as much as you like to because I think the mindset is everything. And you know, again, wherever you go, then there you are. And that's all about mindset.
